Today I read about George Washington, and this is what I learned.
1. He powdered his hair to make look white even though it was red.
2. He was tall at the time, and John Adams made fun of him.
3. His teeth were never wooden, they were made of cow teeth, hippo ivory, and human teeth.
Today I read about Abraham Lincoln. Here are some facts I learned,
1.He was shot and killed by John Wilkes Booth during a play in 1965.
2.In 1860 Lincoln ran for president and won, but a year later the Civil War began
3.His death helped the North and the South come together again.
Our animal is the tabby.
1. A tabby can smell 14 times better than a human.
2. Tabbys can weigh up to 15 pounds.
3. Tabbys are mammals.
4. Tabbys can live up to 15 years.
5. Cats are intelligent,amusing,and friendly.
