My Favorite Fifth Grade Memory
My favorite memory from fifth grade is when we voted. Trump won the fifth grade election. That was a fun day. The rest of that week we read The Kid Who Ran For President. Yeah, that was really fun.

Dear Mrs. Larue Letters from Obedience School
Dear Ike, What an amazing save! When Mrs. Larue walked into the street you saved her life, but next time don’t make it so dramatic. Ike, you aren’t a bad dog you are really a good dog. There was no reason for you to go to dog school
Sincerely,
Newton Smitzer
Best Day of my Life
I was in the car going to Dallas. I could just see the ferris wheel ahead. It was the state fair. I wanted to ride every single ride. We walked up to the ticket booth to get our tickets. Then, my sister and I went to the Twister Roller coaster. It was my first time at the State Fair. We had so much fun. The last last thing we did was a haunted house ride. I ducked the entire time. It was very scary. When it was over I was relieved to be out of that treacherous house. It was the best day ever!
Child Labor in 1911
In 1911 thousands of children worked in factories. Some had no time to play, some worked just for the money. some were to young to work in the factories, but they did it anyways. You had to be at least 14 to work in factories, and 12 to work in the mines. it was just terrible. When the shirtwaist fire caught very few survived most jumped to their death, and some were burned to death. It was just plain madness! That is my opinion on child labor.
